The film is directed by Habib Faisal and stars Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead. Parineeti said she loves bursting crackers with family members and that is her favourite childhood memory. For Ranveer, the festival of lights had been an occasion for a family get together. "We used to have our annual family dinner at my nani's house where the entire family would get together and celebrate. There always was the cheer of festivities and the warmth of kinship in the air," the 'Band Baaja Baaraat' actor said.
